When I was a teenager, my family emigrated from the south coast of England to the coast of South Carolina. I have called Charleston my home now for over 30 years and wouldn’t choose to live anywhere else. I am always in awe of the low country landscape and want my paintings to reflect a tranquil atmosphere that calls upon the viewer to slow down, relax and enjoy the view.
I paint mostly with oils and have a fine arts degree from the College of Charleston. I have taken many workshops over the years with local and visiting artists and I have learned something new through each of these experiences. As an exhibiting member of the Charleston Artist Guild, I currently exhibit at their gallery in downtown Charleston at 160 E. Bay Street. Please stop by and ask about my work.
